Hand held dermatology scanner enters clinical trials - Stratum

2001 

First human confocal endomicroscopy in gastroenterology completed

2002 

Pentax & Optiscan enter into an exclusive collaboration in flexible endoscopy

2003 

Pentax flexible endomicroscope enters clinical trials

2004 

Excellent clinical trial results published in the leading peer reviewed journal Gastroenterology

2005

Publication of outstanding clinical trial outcomes
CE Mark & FDA regulatory clearances received
First pre-production units sold; $5M order from Pentax

Market release of Pentax ISC-1000

Launch of the Optiscan FIVE1 laboratory research system

Carl Zeiss and Optiscan enter collaboration to work together in Neurosurgery, ENT & Spinal Surgery
