Optiscan has been featured in Australian Manufacturing following the announcement of a three-year strategic collaboration with Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) to accelerate the development and deployment of Optiscan’s InForm™ digital pathology platform.

The agreement will enable validation of the InForm device in real-world conditions at ACL’s flagship anatomical pathology laboratory in Western Australia, supporting the collection of imaging data across a range of human tissues and pathologies. The partnership is designed to fast-track regulatory submissions in both Australia and the United States, while enhancing ACL’s digital capabilities.

“This three-year Collaboration Agreement with ACL comes with two clear-cut advantages that make it a real game-changer in the broader development and ultimately commercialisation strategies for our InForm digital pathology device,” said Dr. Camile Farah, Optiscan CEO.

“Our stated goal has always been to revolutionise pathology by delivering real-time digital microscopic insights at point of care, and I want to personally thank ACL for sharing in this vision,” Dr. Farah added.

Associate Professor Tony Landgren, ACL’s Medical Director and Chief Pathologist, said: “We are excited to collaborate with Optiscan, highlighting our commitment to innovation and clinical excellence. This opportunity has the potential to enhance diagnostic workflows with real-time, data-driven insights – a move that supports faster, more accurate decision-making.”
