Optiscan has been featured in a StockwireX article highlighting the commencement of its US breast cancer imaging study at Mayo Clinic, with patient recruitment now underway following site initiation.

The article outlines how the 35-patient study will evaluate Optiscan’s InVue™ precision surgery platform and InForm™ digital pathology platform within a single clinical workflow. The study is designed to potentially generate clinical evidence supporting planned US FDA 510(k) submissions for both devices in the second half of CY2026, while also contributing to AI and machine learning development for breast cancer tissue assessment.

The report also highlights MedTechCo’s integrated surgery-to-pathology strategy, positioning the study as an important step in validating the company’s end-to-end imaging platform and supporting future commercial expansion in the US.

CEO and Managing Director Dr. Camile Farah said: “Patient recruitment in the US is a major milestone in generating high-quality clinical evidence and refining our technologies for demanding surgical and pathology workflows. By evaluating both devices within one clinical workflow, we are building evidence for a potentially integrated surgical-pathology solution.”
